El principal atractivo de Acapulco ha sido -siempre y a lo largo de los años- la belleza de sus paisajes, su cálido y gozoso clima, lo dorado de su arena y la majestuosidad de sus atardeceres. En resumen, la naturaleza de esta región del pacífico guerrerense ofrece al visitante, de manera plena y accesible, sitios de recreación. Su temperatura promedio anual es del orden de los 28º C con muchos días de sol y fresca humedad.

Acapulco se encuentra ubicado en una extensa bahía natural del océano Pacífico y, tanto por su lado Este como el Oeste, le rodean dos magníficas lagunas: la de Coyuca y la de Tres Palos. En su bahía, así como en ambas lagunas, hay una extensa variedad de servicios turísticos destinados a satisfacer a amplios segmentos del mercado, entre estos el mercado gay.

The main attraction of Acapulco has been -always and through the years- the beauty of its landscapes, its joyfull and warm weather, the golden color of the sand and those majestic sunbrakes. In resume, the nature of this region of the state of Guerrero, in Mexico, offers many recreation services -with plenity and accesibility- to the national and international travelers. The year average of Acapulco´s weather is 28º C, with lots of sun and humidity.

Acapulco is located within a large natural bay in the Pacific Ocean and, either East and West sides, is surrounded by two magnificent lakes: Coyuca and Tres Palos. In Acapulco´s bay, and also in both lakes, there is an extense offer of turistic services, created to satisfy wide sectors of the market, among them the gay markety.

		Llegar al puerto de Acapulco desde la Ciudad de México, ya sea en automóvil o en autobús, es ahora muy sencillo, rápido y seguro. En un día de tráfico normal, te tomará alrededor de tres horas y media llegar a la playa. Si prefieres ir a Acapulco en avión y no cuentas con un transporte para movilizarte en la ciudad, quizás te perderás de muchos de los atractivos que hay en los alrededores de la zona urbana. Si bien la Playa Condesa es el punto de reunión de la gente gay del puerto, existe otro lugar para aquellos que gustan de las actividades a lado del mar, como: esquiar, montar a caballo, pasear en lancha, correr y jugar en la arena con amplitud y libertad. Para ellos, Pie de la Cuesta y la barra y la laguna de Coyuca son el lugar ideal para pasar un estupendo día bajo el sol. En un recorrido de aproximadamente 15 kilómetros desde la Costera Miguel Alemán, en sólo media hora estarás disfrutando de uno de los más bellos sitios de Acapulco. Y en Coyuca, te recomendamos instalarte en Tres Marías, un restaurante y bar que cuenta con servicio de lanchas, renta de caballos, motos acuáticas y más, tanto en la laguna como en el mar, y donde la gente gay ha sido tradicionalmente muy bien recibida. To get to Acapulco from Mexico City, either on car or bus, today is so easy, secure and fast. In a normal traffic day, it´ll take about three hours to get to the beach. If you prefer to get to Acapulco by airplane and you do not count with a land transportation to move around, perhaps you could miss many attractions nearby the city. La Condesa Beach, is the main meeting point for gay people in the port, but there are other spaces for those who like water sports, ride horses, sailing on boat, runnig and playing in a wide and sunny sand beach. Pie de la Cuesta and Barra de Coyuca Lake, is the correct place to spend a great day under the sun. In a trip of approximatetly 15 kilometers from the Costera Miguel Aleman, in just 20 or 30 minutes you´ll be enjoying one of the most beautiful beaches in Acapulco. And by Barra de Coyuca lake, we reccomend you to get to Tres Marías restaurant and bar, a place where you´d be able to rent boats, jet-ski, horses rental and much more, and which is also a gay friendly place.
